Mindfulness for Kids: How to teach your child about the mind-body connection

Did you know that what we think in our minds affects how we feel, and how we feel in our bodies affects how we think?

 

Have you ever had butterflies in your stomach before you had to perform, or has your throat felt tight when you’ve had to speak in front of a group of people?

 

The way we think and how we feel are intertwined, and those are some examples of your mind-body connection.

 

Welcome to episode 2 of Chakra Talk! Today, we are talking about the second part of the mind-body-spirit connection: the body! There is scientific proof that your mind and body are connected, and there are some very magical tools you can use to help yourself feel connected and calm when you need it most. 

 

We are discovering what a body scan is, and how to use our breath to feel calm. I also reveal one of my favorite ways to move big feelings out of your body, so you feel good and free!

 

Always remember you have all of the power inside of you to make all of your dreams come true!
